Not according to the ANC and goverment. If you are white, you cannot fill in any form as 'african'. You are considered 'european' or 'white'. Doesnt matter if you were born here.

ImHO. if you have a SA passport.. you are South AFRICAN. people in Eygpt are african and they arn't black according to the ANC.. then again according to the ANC the US doesn't have a black president
 
Malema is an idiot. He'd never come near to passing high-school economics. Also at high levels of economic study (3rd & 4th year), it becomes quite mathematical...and we know that traditionally, black students fare the worst in mathematics in matric. Maybe if the government started fixing the school system there'd be more black economists.
 
I am not proudly African, Africa a complete F up. I shudder when i look at how messed up africa is.

The problem with Juliass is not the idiotic things he says. The problem with Juliass is that the average man on the street seems to support his thinking and come out en-mass to see him speak. The fact that he hasn't been fired as President of the ANCYL also speaks of silent support for him from the ANC itself. No real pressure is being put on him to shape up or shut up. Very, very scary.

As for the whole "African" thing that he takes to mean black. It's absolute rubbish. Most of the black people now living in the country are descendants of people who themselves migrated to South Africa from further up north. In many cases white South African's were in areas of the country before black ones. If you want to get all technical about it then the only native people are the San / Khoi. I'm so tired of the blatant racism in the government, it's quite sickening.

South Africa is for all of us. Labeling yourself "African" means absolutely bugger all. All this does is give the public the opinion that racism toward white South Africans is okay and endorsed by the government.

I know the people who work in our print shop are black and i am white, i am not racist at all because we are all human but we do have different features and colours and noticing that does not make you racist.

The sentiment is true. And at the same time, not racist. It has a lot to do with the history of Africa; this continent was ill-prepared for democracy having been under the yoke of colonialist for a relatively little time and having little to nothing to unite nations that were drawn up by Europeans.

In contrast Europe went through thousands of years of oppressive Kings, Emperors and Tsars - nations born of loyalty to these rulers originally and finally loyalty to the people's government. They fought revolutions to gain independence from the very rulers that united the nations. As such they were, for the most part, well prepared for democracy.

Africa on the other hand was a loose collection of tribes that came together out of sheer necessity to fight their colonial overlords, this unity fell away as soon as the last colonialist turned off the light and the bloody civil wars amongst tribes began.

As such, democracy was the last cruel joke the European colonialists played on Africa before departing the shores of the Dark Continent.
 
No my sentiments are not racist at all, i am not racist by nature but i can see when a certain race cannot do anything but destroy a country and if that comes across as racist then so be it but as i said africa is proof that African leaders are rubbish and a joke.

Sadly democracy is not a cruel joke, without the European okes Africa would still be living in the dark ages.

democracy is not what hurt africa, greedy idiots who care nothing for the good a country have destroyed africa.

Africa is run by dictators, there is not much democracy in africa. You look at some of the countries and see how well the government people live and then you look at people and you just want to cry at how bad africa has become.

Even this country is going the same way with government officials living the high life while millions are poor, granted the poor do very little to uplift themselves but it does not help that government does nothing that makes them want to uplift themselves.

It is common sense, not racist to be $h1t scared of blacks taking control of top economic positions. Look at every single Black run country, it will be poor and 3rd world. It is mearly a fact not an opinion. I am not racist but I judging how the rest of Africa has gone it is completely normal to be very doubtful. As in every other area of business and life trust and confidence is gained through a proven track record. I would love nothing more than for Africa to become wealthy and for Black people to rise above the continents problems and succeed. But now I sound like a racist because I don't have faith in the majority of Blacks who have power. Until now they have screwed everything up.

We have not said anything about who is running the country, we have said if you look at african countries run by African people they are a complete disaster well majority anyhow.

Do you not agree? or would you like me to compile a list for you to look at? since you seem so clever.
 
If you read my post you wil notice how i refer to sensorei's bulltwak racist comment on the economy alone. You are entitled to your prejudiced inferences i suppose, racial or afrophobe.
