PvE enchancement Shaman weapons

The "Haste is Bad for Enhance" myth is a complete load of manure.

Haste is awesome for any melee class so no, Crusader is still good but Mongoose is better.

Ok lets say I have the marginal 2.3 speed weapon. And haste is stacked, this will affect my WF proc rate won't it ?

In that case it would be 80AP vs 280 AP since Crusader Stacks unlike Mongoose which only stacks on the Haste.

No disagreement there

Arms Warrior gets majorly screwed below 2.5 swing speed for yellow/white synergy so there are instances where haste is baaaaaaad :)

Just got read the first post of that Topic. It's pretty much everything you need to know.

Yeah thats true but if you're using Jin'Rohk or Blade of the Harbingers (which both have nice amounts of Haste on) you still need to pack obscene amounts of haste to drop below 2.50s so it's not really a problem outside of SWP gear.

AFAIK haste does not effect dps negatively on slow 2H weapons. The damage of special attacks is based on weapon base speed not modified speed, unless this have been changed as well?
So a arms warrior with a 3.5 swing Axe will still get 3.5 sec swing as modifier even though due to haste the swing have been reduced to 2.5 sec ?
Will have to go read up on this again, getting behind on warrior changes since mine is now only a tank.

My point is this. 1.6 Speed after stacking haste on a 2.6 weapon will make me miss a WF proc every odd swing :( Now that is a problem for me.

The slight loss of an immediate WF proc is offset by the flat increase in DPS from the Haste.

Full Haste Proc'd my MH used to drop from 2.70s to well below 1.0s because I had DST and Dragonstrike.

The only reason it negatively effects an Arms Warrior below 2.5s is due to Slam resetting Swing Timers and the very careful timings involved in Arms DPS.

EDIT, i was wrong, moar haste = moar dee pee ess!

Although more haste does negatively affect Windfury, the number of auto-swings makes up for the loss

Just go read the elitist jerks forum for enhance shaman. It was noticed that the white damage increase due to haste more than makes up for the occasional loss of WF procs.
