Qualcomm and Ericsson have demonstrated the first voice-call-handover from an LTE to WCDMA network

Oh thank [insert appropriate deity here]!!! Finally networks might stop looking to GSM for the voice component I hope the ICASA wholesale license winner looks at this technology quite seriously as it should make for some serious leaps ahead, also guessing having one radio means chips will be fairly cheap too
