R 20 per GB ADSL data bundles

I'm not saying everybody should stay with Afrihost. (I'm sure Gian would love that) but...
Then this offer and others to come will have no impact on the market.
I'm just extremely happy with Afrihost, and the fact that their prices are backed up with good service and more specials for loyal customers are great.
And I promised I will stick with them(until something unbeatable comes along) because they started the revolution.

Please take up this offer and let the other ISPs know that charging R45-R59 per GB is not acceptable anymore.
As long as MyISP delivers on the product they advertise, they should see a great amount of customers jumping ship.

Afrihost led, myisp followed. Kudos to both, I am sticking with Afrihost 10Gb at R290.

We(myBB users) should find a way to spam all @telkomsa.net email addresses. We should notify all ADSL users of these specials. I just feel that not everyone knows about this. Especially the oom en tannie in the old age home with a 1GIG ADSL account...

when is rains it pours, hahahaha. Great stuff this and well done MyISP.

I am with afrihost at the moment. Once i see some positive views on MyISP i will do the switch. No loyalty from me.

Only thing i am loyal to is the cheapest price per gig.

Too bad there's no online signup for myisp :/
I would've had an account by now if i didnt have to download a pdf, print it then fax it back

Mweb can and will continue to charge their prices because they reach a different market(very very big market). Their ad on TV reaches the old tannie and oom with a 1Gig account and they think it is a great special, and they take it.

Imagine the frenzy if Afrihost/MyISP ran a 20 second ad on TV for a week or two!
They will never be able to keep up with all the calls and new sign-ups.

have you noticed how all this time IS and saix bandwidth was so expensive, and now all of a sudden the prices can drop to 20 bucks wich used to be over 100 bucks, when they told us they could'nt drop it and now they can.

I know that they all can give uncapped for everyone, but they wont cause they milking everyone on the bandwidth.

i think milking the consumer is going to become null in void very very soon....ISP's has already started to fight for market share.........the way we like it!!!!!

Haha, this is great =P And people were complaining about SEACOM having no effect on the local market at all...

haha... I wonder how all those chops feel who said "prices won't drop below R70 a gig until next year"? :D

Well, this is all very positive I must say. When are we going to be able to get affordable 5GB and 10GB HSDPA packages though? :(

so with Afrihost you get 2 Gigs for 60 bucks, and with MyISP you get 3 Gigs? and wifi?

woooahhh......

/goes to change Sig. Chillie - you guys are taking too long, screamer, you blew it.

MyISP FTMFW!
Houston, we have no more problems. T minus 24 hours to launch. ADSL Market shake up plotted. Competitor disruptors set to full strength.

DigiChilli
According to Darren Smith - CEO of DigiChilli - testing will begin in less than 24hrs - first come first serve

Now we wait and see what WebAfrica will offer

Imagine the frenzy if Afrihost/MyISP ran a 20 second ad on TV for a week or two! They will never be able to keep up with all the calls and new sign-ups.
That would blow Afrihosts marketing budget and no more discounted specials.
Yeah I agree it would be a broadband frenzie, most of the country still uses TI & Mweb
