There might be no hidden cost but the only way you can afford it is if your employer subsidises your medical aid atleast thats the only way I can afford it. Vitality without half being paid by your employer is not exactly affordable no matter how many bells and whistles they might give you.
My employer pays 100% of my medical aid. But its deducted from my total package, so obviously it affects my net payout. But I am also only on the classic saver plan, which means my Medical Savings Account is limited and there is no above threshhold benefit. But that is fine. I am not complaining. I don't think we would even use the Above Threshhold benefit every year anyway.
