R44 per GB ADSL

The service is only available to Vitality Discovery members.

thought as much, and who is footing the bit before the cost price - us the discovery member probably.

So, to clarify, I get 1gb account both local and international for R44/m. I assume this excludes Telkoms line rental?

i cant believe a medical aid is now entering the DSL competition market, man that's f**cked up, don't you think? They should stick to their core business "medical aid"!!!!

it's advertised as R45 per gig, but in the sign-up dialog the only option for 1gb is listed as R65

either I'm missing something or . . .

I think it is quite cool...I mean my family is on discovery...and so far it contributed to our gym membership, movie cards, and now possible broadband...why not?

Actually, it is precisely because they are NOT sticking to their core business that they are doing so well and are able to offer good medical cover packages. That guy has vision. He is a Marketing Actuarial. He knows the math.

Everything except paying your medical bills.

Seems like everybody's forgetting that it's R44/GB if you're a member of Discovery AND a Vitality member, which is R92 per month extra.

Ja? ... and?

I get more than R200.00 a month back on my food bills from Pick and Pay. I get gym membership for life at R500 once off. I get enough points four times a year to buy R500 worth of gifts for each family member from Vitality Mall. My wife gets her prepaid vouchers for R220 instead of R270.

...and they are introducing a new plan as well where I get 25% discount on all health food bought from Pick and Pay over and above my normal discount.

What's your point?
