R50 Uncapped 24hrs - Discussion

Has anyone heard anything new about this 1-day bundle... is it really only going to be available only from the 19th or is that just an estimation?

seems like we still going to wait well i am pissed off so i am just going to get my self an iburst they have free internet at night

wel i am not sure about that since i am not a student i dont mind getting myseflt the 15 gig cap plus adding an extra for that 128kbps speed there after

I wonder why they made that Announcement, i hate a liar more than a thief at list when voda robs us we know about it and they never make empty promises
 
3G connection, lowest is 460Kb/s and retrains to higher speeds as needed. Regardless, the 150MB will take ± 1Hour anyway, so 12 mins is not going to make much difference.

Fixed. What handset you use that 3G goes over 384kbps and 460kbps?
What are you sayin' about the 1hr 12min part?

Be careful with the "connect speed" that Windows reports when you connect via USB.
This message is a legacy from the days of RS-232 dial-up modems and is supposed to be the link speed between the PC and the modem, not the modem and the server (line speed).
It means nothing.

I've seen on a Nokia N95 speeds over 1Mbps, but Windows still says the connect speed is 460kbps.

Very aware of that.
 
The package is ideal if u wana download +-100mb then use the rest to surf coz 128kbps isn't exactly the ideal download speed. I tried it as soon as the '150mb soft cap' was reached I was throttled to 128kbps which is not bad for surfing.
 
well i activated the bundle on the 16th @11:55 am an i was disconnected @12:05pm same day and my airtime balance is now R0.00 instead of R28.00. called mtn dy told me its being investigated and will let me now about any possible refunds after 24hrs. i'll wait n c. anyoe else with the same problem?
