Where can one get amd catalyst 13.4 drivers for linux since they are no longer provided on the official amd site?

Is there a reason you don't get the Catalyst driver from your distribution?

Bear in mind that AMD don't always update their older drivers to work with newer versions of Xorg X server.
e.g. fglrx 13.350 is compatible with X ABI 15, but if you want X ABI 18, you'll have to upgrade to fglrx >=14.201.

If I'm not mistaken your card is no longer supported for new driver releases.

Crimson (the new catalyst) is for HD 7 series cards and newer.
