They didn't even check screensize. I'll take my 26inch next year. It was still awesome with windows giving me crap and the small screen. I had to reinstall windows twice!:wtf:
But now I can say I'm not a rage virgin anymore and I'll drive 350KM to JHB any year for rage

If I could somehow get out to that part of the country at that time I would be more than keen to go to rage, but unfortunately it doesn't happen too often :/

I take it there won't be any form of an expo again this year. Just another LAN party. Won't wast my time or money doing this again.

Let's hope one of the rage whores will come and teach us noobs...

Your pc and monitor won't go walkies (even more so if you've got a huge lcd, or even CRT).... but you could take your headphones, keyboard, and mouse if you go anywhere.
It would help if you had several friends there, and took it in turns to go out....

As for authentic win etc.... well, considering all the file sharing, it's not surprising it's not a concern.

Just don't:
-cheat
-hack
-bring huge crt's and stuff that trip the mains

Basic Requirements:
Power: you need a special plug
File sharing: you need DC++ basically (don't forget to hash your files before you go, as it may take hours!)

otherwise you should be fine to do whatever you like.
