Which one do you have? If the exhaust being a 120mm then I'll order one tomorrow. Also one thing that put me off of the CM690 is the fact that there's only one 3¼ inch bay. I need 2 as I will be purchasing 2 x Vantec NXP-305 Nexus Fan and Light Controller (Black)
 
The Black Edition has a 120mm - being the black and green one. All Fans supplied & installed.

the grey/blue one is the one with a 80mm exhaust fan. (And doesn't come with all fans included either, afaik)

what price are you paying, cause PCint has it for R850 or something?
 
Ahhh I understand. I thought the colors didn't mean anything except they were different colors. I was gonna get the black/green one anyway :P Was gonna order from PCint, someone posted in a different thread earlier about their good price.

Do you perhaps know of a place where I could get it cheaper :P ? All the fans that will come with it won't matter, gonna purchase UV reactive fans, sleeving, sata cables etc from Sybaritic.

The green/black case is gonna fit in nicely with my razer mantis speed pad :P

Have you seen this case though ? it's quite nice too - and loads more fan's

Yeah that case is a bit pricey... Sybaritic has it listed for R2,382.00, bit out of my budget lulz.

Well, I would think the CM690 is a more conservative choice whereas the smilodon is the more fancy of the two. Before I bought my CM690 I already had a case with lots of LED's etc. and I got over it very quickly. Much prefer the sleek black look.

That's why I think it's more down to personal preference. If you want fancy, get the smilodon, if you want to be more conservative but still look awesome, get the CM690. They're both rock solid cases for the money.
 
I have the Raidmax Smilodon. It's a nice case, but a bit to small for my liking. My 9800GT barely fits in, and since I don't have my cables sleeved, it doesn't leave much space for airflow. But it's not a bad case, there's just some stuff I would have changed.

Shees the cm 690 got expensive, when i bought mine it was like R600, but anyhow i also had a look at the raidmax and decided on the cm, real good quality.
 
I originally wanted to go for the CM690, but I have 2 problems with it. The first being the window is too tiny, the second being it only has 1 stiffy drive external bay, and I needed 2. I've settled on the Raidmax, just need to find a cheap supplier.
 
i must say i struggled to get my 9800gtx in the case... it still fits though!! not sure if there are any bigger cards though so wont be a problem.
 
So I phoned PC int today, they don't have stock. I asked nick@KABTech to find out if he could organise for me. He said he will have a look. I then phoned the pc shop I always buy from, they are getting one tomorrow for R975. More than likely will go get it tomorrow unless nick@KABTech can get me a better price including courier costs >.>
 
I'd been looking for months on Prophecy to see if anyone had one to sell and never came across anything recent until, a few minutes ago the seller resurrects a month old thread :o

yeah - if I go smiliodonm it has to be the black edition - looks cooler :D
