Raidmax Smilodon Chassis vs Coolermaster CM690 + Window

/smacks hj2k_x with a sata cable

Anyone got an Antec Skeleton Case?

Actually seems like a helluva lot of cooling and airflow pro's with the Antec Skeleton Case.

Still though - I'd never be able to walk up to it and put my PC on.
It'd freak me out :D

i'd just be scared of putting my coke next to it - might bump it over and BAM! Sparks will be flying alright.....

So I bought the Raidmax case today :D Will put my pc in it once all my extra goodies from Sybaritic arrives.

Must say I'm not impressed at all with the case.. Gonna see if I can swap it for the coolermaster

but, how can he not be impresses AT ALL??

it was debated, facts, features and info were given - how can it be totally wrong???

....all the hype killed his expectations

what? why not?

I would of liked a blowhole fan at the top. They didn't engineer it so that you can take that black thing the runs horizontal across the case, you can take it out, but you can't mount a fan on the window panel. The whole door being magnetic makes it feel iffy. I dunno can't explain it.There's no dust filters at all.

What did we say in the beginning lol.

Indeed lol :P

I think this was the case (no pun intended). The little tool box is a nice feature, as well as the removal of the motherboard tray.

Maybe if it looked like a CM690:D

I just have two problems with the CM690 though. The windowed version, the window is too small, which is no biggy as I can get it cut and a piece of perspex fashioned somewhere. The second thing is, there's only 1 x 3 quarter inch bay, whereas I need 2 for my 2 fan controllers I'll be getting. Dunno what to do now /sigh

ok

1) nobody said nothing about no blowhole at the top - you should of checked the specs/pics if you really wanted this.
2) keep the panel in - it's supposed to be there - it holds heavy 3d cards (like a 4870x2 for example) nice and steady. there is a fan there so no need to mount extra fans on the window
3) every chassis (or 90%) has a magnetic door. otherwise it would swing open all the time. it's a *very* tiny magnet - don't worry man, lol

but if you not happy, then ur not happy - but IMO you are expecting too much, worrying about magnets...
