My router just stopped connecting to the network at 2pm and when I checked the portal it just said “Failed to register” and continues to do so. Tried everything under the sun to sort out this issue including:
Restarting the router many many many MANY times
Ditto for switching mobile data on and off
Ditto for switching from 5G to 4G and back again
Ditto for APN settings
Ditto for switching between NSA+SA to just NSA, and SA
Ditto for resetting the router

Tried reaching out to rain for assistance but the service rep left me high and dry after asking for my account and the router’s address in full. This is honestly abominable from RAIN.

The gap between the promised service and reality grows ever wider

Friend in Kenilworth upgraded from LTE to 5G, after noting he is well within the coverage area. The router shows a 10% signal, yet Rain tell him the transmitter is 602m from his house

They blame it on trees, nearby buildings, the fact that his house is near the top of a hill

I fitted an antenna. The signal is now 25% but the fastest download is 0.9 mbps, upload 3.3 mbps

He told his bank to decline the debit order

That's not a great idea at all and will probably end worse for him than Rain. He signed a contract, even if it's month to month.

Also as far as I know Rain only activates the 5G package if you get above 80Mbit, unless this changed?
