Rain aggressively expanding 5G coverage

Rain 5G rollout update — 6 million homes covered and more to come

Rain says it wants to continue increasing its 5G coverage in South Africa by 70% each year, and plans to expand its network to new areas and towns along the Garden Route and in Gauteng and Mpumalanga.

A Rain spokesperson told MyBroadband that the network operator had expanded its network to cover 6 million households in South Africa.

Rain is good if you are near a uncongested tower and bad for you if are in a effy area with "Vodacom" towers

Unfortunately torrents are throttled to buggery. Over HTTP I can hit 80mbps, but torrents top out around 15kbps.

The problem is that most people don't notice because they are streaming all the time. A content creator like me is wishing we can all complain so they (Rain) fixes this.

I tried them for a week over a year ago. It was either on with 80MB/s or off with 0MB/s. No in-between. R999 per month was too much for something that didn't work all the time.
