Rain 5G rollout update — 6 million homes covered and more to come

Rain says it wants to continue increasing its 5G coverage in South Africa by 70% each year, and plans to expand its network to new areas and towns along the Garden Route and in Gauteng and Mpumalanga.

A Rain spokesperson told MyBroadband that the network operator had expanded its network to cover 6 million households in South Africa.

Rain is the worst product I have ever used. My GF had it after warning her about it. She eventually had to cancel. They don't respond to messages, mails, calls. So she has told her bank to cancel the debit order.
After a year or so she finally decided to with mweb fibre via Telkom openserve

Not much of a upgrade....

I pull about 300-400gb on the LTE uncapped a month and game on it so far soo good happy with it for the price

So rain throttle video streaming to one device how about downloads in peer to peer sites is it throttled during the day? 05:00 to 23:00

Rain is good if you are near a uncongested tower and bad for you if are in a effy area with "Vodacom" towers
Simple has that

So Vodacom is now only second worst?

How I wish Rain can improve their upload speed. I complained and they are sending me a new "different" brand modem tomorrow (27/06/2022)

I tried them for a week over a year ago. It was either on with 80MB/s or off with 0MB/s. No in-between. R999 per month was too much for something that didn't work all the time.
