Rain and storm for Cpt pt 2

We already had most of the good weather in Apr/May/Jun this year. Every other month is either wet, cold, windy or hot. Maybe a few nice days in Sep/Oct if you can get out of the wind.
wouldn't mind hot, will feel just like the desert for me,
but the winds, not sure if I will like that a lot.

you mean this place gets more miserable?
tell me the weather improves at some point? or is it like a lotto every day,

Other than all the rain the weather hasn't really been that bad, I'm fully expecting some truly hectic winds sometime over the next few weeks. The wind has been very mild for some time now.

There are several factors that in combination affect perceived weather. Sunshine, rain, temperature, and wind operate in overlapping cycles. Every month/season has different profiles, and daily variations. Your sensitivity depends on location, clothing, and type of outdoor activity.

The weather will gradually improve, but if you dislike one or more specific factors, it can and will be unpleasant. How long have you been in CT exactly?

SANBI Kirstenbosch defines 6 seasons (not 4), although for plants (not humans). https://www.sanbi.org/gardens/kirstenboch/garden-information/seasons/

since March, end of Feb, approx 5 months

were a few nice pleasant days here, will say that much, and compared to JHB, at least there isn't all the torching of dry fields before summer,
so its all relative I guess, just the rain and cold weather do get to me, guess being born elsewhere in the world has its disadvantages

what im trying to figure out is this standard weather? like JHB is right now, cold but never rainy,
or is all this constant rain with brief cold bouts, the standard nothing to be concerned about kind of thing, or not really.

Its random. There are some amazing days in Autumn and Spring, Summer between the windy days is also nice, but then if there is NO wind for too long then you just die.

EDIT: What is really nice is a drought, because the weather is perfect but then after 2 winters like that we are onto water restrictions and day zero.

Yes, it's normal for winter here to be full of rainy days & unpredictable weather. Get some warm socks and a good book and accept it.
did bring my full Arctic jacket from the snows of Toronto with me, never thought Id need it here in SA,
something similar to this:

The wind was hectic during the storms but we are used to it blowing constantly for days on end.

Can feel the crispness in the air today

May be an image of road and La Sagrada Familia
