I see the latest predictions are that the significant rainfall will come on Thursday night / Friday morning.

Mortymoose, duststorms for you before the rain arrives!
Strong signs of a cut off low forming.
Last time one this strong formed Laingsburg got flooded.

WC, southern NC in for it in the next few days, late Thursday, early Friday onwards into Mondy/Tuesday.

On it, wind already howling this evening with bitter cold weather, which usually indicates a warm day tomorrow.... wind will be NNe of the desert, samd gonna blow.... might be good for a braai...

Holy moly I'm 200KM from CPT and the fringe of the cold front must have hit cause 15min ago it suddenly became FREEZING.

I wonder if all the heaters being switched on this weekend for emergency heat is gonna cause load shedding.....

The cold air only arrives AFTER a cold front has passed.

im excited for this storm tomorrow
heading to a friends holiday house in Pringle Bay early in the morning for 2 nights stay making a big indoor fire and drinking and spinning vinyl  Come home on Saturday

Make sure the roof is secure, and bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper...

Oh, never mind, you'll probably be drinking and pass out as the storm approaches...
