I don't know but when I click to add a not comes on my phone saying 'Sorry, you don't have permission to upload attachment.' I can however upload on other threads.
 
The SAWS rainfall report for the 24 hours to 8am on Fri 10th makes for interesting reading: https://www.weathersa.co.za/images/data/climate/nr_daily_rai.pdf

Highest include Kirstenbosch 125mm, Paarl 67mm, Wellington 55mm, Molteno Reservoir (CBD) 51mm, Atlantis 47mm, Strand 43mm, Cape Town W/O (airport) 41mm, etc. Areas further inland, and away from the mountains received considerably less (so far).

The figures for the Berg River Dam have updated, and show significant inflows (though not record breaking like 27 June). The level has risen 2.7% in the last 18 hours to 85.3%.

It's been a constant rain in the desert, absolutely beautiful with plenty more to come..... Have yet to leave the building, but from the screen grabs, the water is building up, with the main downpour still to come at around 15H00.....

Ten days from now, the desert will be transformed into a green carpet, I for one cannot wait.....
 
It rained the entire day, there is a brief respite, but I fear this will end shortly, One of my plant rooms got flooded....

Once again, this is the desert, we don't usually get lakes like that above...
