Friday storm - there was a leak by sliding door. Luckily, some silicone fixed it. Last night leak free.

12 mm in our gauge in Kenilworth this morning (Sun 28th). It felt like more due to the strong NW wind. Slowly clearing from the west today.

In addition to the 15mm on Friday night, that makes for a wet weekend! Hope the campers didn't get too damp...

Planning a trip to the Cederberg this weekend, would be interested to know how it will affect us on saturday and sunday.

But everyone was complaining how hot it was yesterday, and I said just wait a while...

It's still very hot, just got home from La Pinita on the other side of town, dry and humid there, got home and it's raining, but still bloody hot.

Was actually fine. The Sunday on the way back was very wet though, just past Tulbach.

I've given up with the weather recently!? Ridging High Pressure and South Easterly wind should mean fine conditions, but apparently not. Another cutoff low is predicted for this weekend (Sun 5th), so we are really stuck in an unusual pattern...

A brief band of showers passed along the western side of the Cape Peninsula, include Table Mountain and Milnerton. Nothing in Kenilworth, or further east.

Can confirm via my sis, rain here in Meadowridge but nothing in Kenilworth a few km away. Light rain, but only 10% was forecast so yup, weather up to its own tricks.
Very odd! And rather cool, autumnal feel outside.
