Probably a combination of rockfall/scree slope, post-fire burn scar, and/or mudslide from the recent rains. Very hard to make out those kind of details at a distance...

Last week's dam levels were good, and the Berg River Dam is already overflowing. It's still early June, and all signs point to heavy rain in the next two weeks. Other parts of the country have more to worry about.

A series of cold-fronts is expected this week. It is difficult to tell where one ends and the next begins, and the close spacing tends to affect the accuracy of the forecasts.
Heavy rain is predicted for Wednesday morning, and also Thursday. It is too soon to state whether it will be clear when you need to ride to work, or home. Check again closer to the time.
