I lived on the hillside there at the turn of the century. Had a wendy house installed as a shed. When I warned the installer about the wind they replied that they know all about it as they install all over the Helderberg. I phoned them the next morning to go and look for their roof sheets and to come and affix them properly.

Just went to get cancer sticks and the mountain is cloaked, some very dark clouds over the peninsula. Upper Steenbras dam still sunshine, but that should be covered soon.

Yeah it was pretty crazy
But all normal for us N2 daily warriors
Seen worse before
I give this rain/storm a 5/10 out there currently
 
I can hear the wind is loud, but not too bad
As long as trees arent been uprooted in the rain I should be fine on my jetski going to work
 
It's insanely wet in the Banhoek Valley. Dwarsrivier broke its banks, quite a few properties under water in Kylemore.
