Helderberg wind takes no prisoners, dad called me on Saturday night past to say that Gbay looked like a warzoneLooks worse from the other side.
Took these pics today for the insurance company to send a tree feller and someone to fix the electric fence.
I'm just glad the fence held up. View attachment 1536711View attachment 1536713
I lived on the hillside there at the turn of the century. Had a wendy house installed as a shed. When I warned the installer about the wind they replied that they know all about it as they install all over the Helderberg. I phoned them the next morning to go and look for their roof sheets and to come and affix them properly.Helderberg wind takes no prisoners, dad called me on Saturday night past to say that Gbay looked like a warzone
Pathetic storm today
I expected much better
Excellent, will be using the jetski.Slow buildup. The rain is still coming, but it will mostly be over the mountains, and will last more than 24 hours.
The next major front is due to arrive on Sun 12th.
Nice puddles on the jetski going home, but very little rain in Somerset West
Yeah it was pretty crazyMy neigbour just came back from dropping a friend off at the airport. Says it was crazy out there, with rain, darkness and CT drivers...
