So who is doing the actual work here ... can we get those standing around looking pretty out to Gunner Circle, Epping, that's been flooded the last 5 winters !!??!!

Another 20 mm this morning in Vredekloof. Plus the farm in Hanover had another 63 mm! That is a lot of rain for the Karoo in 48 hours. The place is a mudbath at the moment.

I saw some footage of flooding around Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo on TV last night. No much media coverage, but I did find this link:

14mm in our gauge in Kenilworth this morning. More wind than rain in this storm, but cold fronts come in all shapes and sizes. Another front is due tomorrow (Sun 4th) bringing more wind, some rain, and cooler temperatures.

Main trunk of the willow tree didn't hold up to the wind last night. Fortunately no major damage except for the electric fence.
