There will definitely be a cutoff-low over the next few days, but the exact details are hard to predict. Most of the SAWS charts quoted in the article above have vague numbers such as 70% rainfall (whatever that means).

I was inside my ceiling yesterday morning and saw a roof tile split in 2, with the bottom piece missing.
Basically a 30cm x 20cm hole to the bright blue sky

Got repaired this morning

What I found interesting this morning was the Accuweather App forecast for my location. It said at the time that it would start raining in 38 minutes. I set a timer and to my utter amazement, it started raining 38 minutes later.
