Rain and storm for Cpt

I was wondering why my clothes seem to be taking longer to dry inside even with a fire going. Even had days with condensation on the kitchen window which we've never had before in the 12 years living here.

Decided to try the dry function on the aircon and it's helped a lot. No more misting windows and dry clothes.

Surprisingly the dehumidifying function on the aircon does not use much electricity.
Granted I've only had aircon for a month or so, but I find myself wondering whether the dehumidifying function actually does anything? It seems to me that the aircon is just still and doing nothing most of the time.

It does seem to not be doing anything but I've noticed no misting of windows even when we cook in the kitchen and clothes gets dry now so it must be having an effect.

The one night my wife forgot to switch it on and all the windows in the kitchen was misted up.

Pretty much, it's super damp where I stay (close to Simonsberg).

I find one needs one per floor to work well.

So I just set up the 25L one - talk about easy to use! :)

Says my humidity is 86%.

I also like that is an air purifier as well.

What temp is the aircon set at?

My aircon doesn’t have a temperature setting when it’s in dehumidifier mode.

Not sure if others are also like this.

Temperature setting has little to do with dehumidification with an AC system. An AC dehumidifies the air by its very nature, so normally most cars will just pump the fans full blast, no matter the temperature setting when you set it to in defrost mode.

We talking about split units in the house not cars.

Long range forecasts show several mild and windless days ahead for CT, with some fog and cloud at times. It will be cooler on Tues 4th into Wed 5th, but the next actual cold front will only be on Fri 7th.
At least. The muddy, wet and cold conditions played right into Italys hands last Thursday.
