Surely that's not going to help when there's a storm that comes along and erodes all the soil. Tree roots hold the soil together and help avoid landslides.Aaaah memories

All the pine trees are gone
Department of Water and Forestry mowed them all down 4 years ago when we were heading for day zero
An adult pine tree can consume 200 litres a day
I think they removed 300 trees
Granted you might prefer indigenous trees to do it rather than pines. But just cutting down and not planting doesn't help anyone.
