Rain and storm for Cpt

My shack's power is finally back on.

Socialism sucks. Don't even get me started on that facade that's Marxism. I had to wait from 02:00 for COCT to get their asses into gear.

It's immensely frustrating because the counselor promised us food parcels and our phones were off. No way to charge.

I'll send a Pic once he eventually pitches..

These people!!!

Unlike some other folks here I try & not feel joy in other peoples pain.

Currently are you actually living in a shack, a shack (as per the definition)?

The area just after Somerset Mall on the N2 north is like a lake. Has the Eerste River burst its banks?

You think I'm joking and WAslayer and Mowgsir are poking fun at me for shirts and giggles?

Look at my post of this morning where I posted the pic of the vista when I awoke.

Call it an experiment in probability theory, self-inflicted.

The place is in shambles. A dog was electrocuted by the stolen electricity. A tree fell on the overhead cables, leaving it dangling and touching water.

Here's another pic of the now dried entrance

I’d like some pics of the Amazon building on Blackriver parkway. Hope it is ok there.

I already stated that runoff in the normally wet suburbs of Cape Town that feed the Liesbeek River has not been exceptional. I was dog walking in Rondebosch at 10am, and the ground was soggy, but the level in the canal was low. We have had much more intense rainfall from cold-fronts in the past. This was a sustained period of moderate rainfall, with peak intensity in the Overberg (not Cape Town itself).
