There is plenty of thunder here in Vredekloof. The temperature has dropped from 34 this afternoon to 27. Humidity is still very high. It could easily rain as the dew point is 26.

A sprinkle of rain in Kenilworth during the early hours this morning (Sat 3rd). Quite a lot of distant lightning flashes, and some rumbles of thunder. The storm was clearly much more active over the Breede Valley area.

Massive crack of thunder and then there was a short downpour.

Lightning was over the Mountain and Devils Peak/Vredehoek side. Flashes bright as daylight at 6am.

PS 25 degrees now with 77% Humidity.
