It is reported that there are fallen trees blocking the roads in my neighborhood. The boundary wall of an estate in Gordon's Bay has collapsed. A tree fell on an access gate. A secondary school's roof fell out.

There are loads more reports.
Parentals are in GB, they say its a warzone, people risking it to the shops are playing dodge'em with trees and all sorts of kak blowing around in the roads

Came from Hermanus over Sir Lowry about an hour ago, avoid if possible, I almost messed my pant coming down there, everyone keeping behind the trucks just in case they blow over, lol, lots of damage in Somerset West, there was a storage place that had all their doors blown in.

A friend of mine in Gordons Bay came over the pass back home on his motorbike an hour ago and he said it was a bit scary. He is a mad man.

Lots of trees blown over here by us, lost some roof tiles overnight, was expecting worse when I went out this morning going on how hectic the winds were overnight.

You're very lucky then, Ive seen some footage of houses in Stellenbosch with their roofs ripped right off like a can of mussels

So far of all the damage Ive seen the tinned roofs are worst, as it starts it just takes them all off in one quick sweep.
The damage of houses with tiles is just 1 tile at a time very slowly

Tiles for the win
