Snow already....

Heading to underberg in a month's time... Planning a sani drive. This could not end well

i could feel this morning it is already getting colder very quickly on my bike, had to wear my full gear clothing and it was still chilly, almost time for the winter gloves :) Nice site that thanx, have bookmarked it

It was 8.5 degrees in Stellenbosch this morning, so it is definitely getting colder.

Why are you chicken?
We travelled to Sani from the Lesotho side in winter on a road that all sites recommended no one does on his own, at night in a snowstorm.

The rain has already eased off here in Kenilworth, but I got very wet between 10 and 11am while walking the dog.

The temperature chart for tomorrow (Fri 5th) is quite impressive, with unseasonably low temperatures across the entire southern half of SA:

I love this weather.

Me alone with a Mills & Boon book, hand lotion and Kleenex.

Thread is rather quiet. I see the weather guys have belatedly attributed the severe flooding in some parts of the Eastern Cape and KZN to a cut off low? I was not particularly watching the weather so missed it? Did anyone else spot the formation of a cut off low?

Yes, but I posted about the COL in the KZN thread, since it has had no impact on Cape Town.

Seems dry until at least the first week in May...

I guess, they control the flow of the river by the amount of water being released upstream at the Jonkershoek dam where the Theewaterskloof tunnel comes through.
