Lmao Rain doesn't care, what could they possibly do to assist you during lock-down other than tell you the tower appears to be congested.
"What could they do "They can do Lots. They are a "Essential service provider."
"What do they want to do about it, Now that is the question " - Up for debate ..

Lot's of suppliers are now open. Last time i checked ICT is an essential service ,The company i work for is open ,reduced staff , and work from home , but when required we still need to go out to clients and following COVID Rules and safety measures .

But Rain can operate , I dont see why they cant dispatch someone to towers .
Also they are an ISP do you really want to tell me they are not able to manage and monitor their infrastructure remotely? I had a chat with another MyBB forum member last night , And what he said was true , How are they not able to pick up the high number of disconnects ?

I'm going to play both sides here , But speeds i can understand to a point . (Note i said to a point)

But getting completely kicked off a tower , or not able to connect , now that's a whole other story .

Unfortunately my 5G is up and down and up and down today. When it's up it works great and I get great signal. But it has been mostly down today unfortunately.

I wish I knew why it's doing this.

@rain_mobile Can someone maybe look into this for me? My router will see the 5G

and then drop it again

The whole time. It's like it's just not connecting for some reason. I mean, the signal that it sees is great and when I'm connected to it it's great but it just doesn't want to connect sometimes like today.

Join the club. It's the same issue that both I and others have been having.
Mine still does this after 40 days of references, emails, escalations and technician visits.

I took the router off from the roof and now have it in a different spot. Much worse signal but at least now it connects and at least now the Internet works.

Are any of you able to see the ARP tables on your devices ?

I don't see anything there but don't really know anything about that.

Um so after I moved my router I had internet the whole day and then I thought I will try it on the roof again. Alas, no luck. Just can't connect to 5G on the roof. Brought the router back down and.... it didn't want to connect in the usual good spot either. Kept moving the router around until I found a spot where it connects.

I just don't get it. It almost looks like if the connection is too good then it doesn't want to connect to it.

Unfortunately my problem persists. Had to move router back to a worse spot to actually get it to connect.

2nd evening in a row... Throughput goes noisy around 13h00/14h00 then RAIN says night-night at 20h00 and sods of for 2 or 3 hours ....

Frankly, anyone working at RAIN who feels any sense of pride in their work should be institutionalised....

I basically have the same issue:

My CPE unit disconnects from the 5G network and switches over to 4G and then doesn't want to connect to the 5G network again. This is probably happening at least three times a day and then suddenly all is fine again.

It's as if the tower that I'm connecting to does not have a 5G service for that period.

The worst part is when I move my CPE unit to a place where I have clear line of sight to the tower that Rain suggests I connect to it doesn't want to connect at all. This is also the place where I have the most bars on my 4G connection.

The best speed I have gotten was over 300mbps but from a location that does not have line of sight and where the connection stats is much worse. This is driving nuts...

I would like to know why this is happening? Why would the tower in question not always have 5G service for certain periods or is it something else?

Have any of you guys had feedback from RAIN on this. Their support is non-existent. I will have to cancel if this does not improve.

Just for interest sake are any of you guys in the Centurion area and how many bars do you guys have on your 4G connection on average?

There are a few people from centurion with the same issue including myself.
