Rain is down

Completely down in Stellenbosch from exactly 13h00. The normal restarting of the router does not seem to do the trick this time. What could possibly be going on?

Just got off call with customer care, technicians advised that all metro rain towers are down in cape town... no estimated turnaround time.

Just died on me. Durban, Glenwood area. Went from 70mbps to no signal, nothing. Normally when there is loadshedding I pickup the other towers far away.

Edit: Back up and running again.

It seems when load shedding takes towers down, which I am assuming are Vodacom towers here, it throws us on some very obscure towers which do not handle well at all. After load shedding, try rebooting your router, and using the band tool to force to 1800, then back to 2600 if you're using 2600. Worked for us.

Been having issues with Rain in New Redruth, Alberton (Near Union Hospital).
2600 frequency is not picking up a signal at all. Was never a great signal (-100) but it was usable. Since We had a big storm on Sat it can't connect. If I force it onto 1800 frequency it picks up a a stronger signal, but d/l speeds are at 3mb/s or so.

Anyone know where the 4G tower is located?
