Rain keeps charging me after 3 cancellations

My frustrations are unmatched with this company. To give the summarised version; in 2020 I got rain as a mobile solution for my work needs, in February 2021 I cancelled it with no issues or hassles. Here we are in 2023 November and I’m getting phone calls from debt collectors on part from rain regarding an outstanding payment, in all honesty I ignored until January 2024 when the phone calls became 4-6 times a day. So I logged onto rain and paid the R500 odd that they stated I owed, phoned them and they confirmed my account is closed. February come and they send an sms; unsuccessful payment, I request a phone call, email and get nothing so phone. So I phone them and a lovely lady helps me, cancels my account and tells me that nothing will come from my account again. March comes and bam charged. April comes, bam charged. Here we are 1st of May and guess what I’m charged. Now they have since changed the system and whenever I call I get an automatic response stating I have outstanding account balance and thats all it says, no human to speak to. Im honestly lost after cancelling my account 3 times and now being charged monthly for an account i canceled in 2021 orginally and havent even looked at since

Since you seem nice rain will keep billing you. Act like lion, and kick like a dying horse.
 
Me too. I cancelled in January because connectivity was bad. They are still charging me. I called them several times, they keep on escalating.
 
I got lawyers phoning me to collect a debt from 2020, got hold of RAIN, showed them my email proof of cancellation, and why they escalated. Was told i was sent a notification and if i log in i would see it. So for a product i cancelled i am expected to still log in and check and still it took months to get them to stop hounding. I wouldnt care if they gave away a product for R1 i would never deal with them again
