Can agree to that, speeds was super slow quality was up and down non stop. Glad to at least be back in JHB with fibre! But as for Rain being part of my travel its a pastimeI haven't checked the speeds today, but yesterday in Cape Town, Durbanville was really bad. It was so erratic I couldn't stream F1 race. Changing bands didn't make any difference.
The quality dropped a lot, very sad.
Tested my Telkom LTE-A this morning around 4AM.
Ping: 18ms
Download: 160Mbps on Speedtest. On Steam i reach 186Mbps when downloading Games. Downloaded CSGO this morning, 8.5gig in 4 - 5 mins.
Upload: 10mbps on Speedtest , not sure on steam.

The tower you connect to must have 2600hHz enabled as well other wise you wont pick it up.

Not too shabby I would say for a wireless network. Also still getting good speed in Centurion and ultra reliable for the last nearly 2 years.Nelspruit during the evening
