i want to buy a Rain LTE Sim Card with my own Money by EFT and buy my own Data.

Where else can i get A Rain LTE Sim other than online?? i want to be able to Send airtime to the sim and purchase bundle Like you do the same with Telkom Sim Cards through The Online Portal do you understand!?

Hey man. From what I read the Rain One Plan you pay for what you use. There is no bundles or airtime to be purchased. For example if you used 2gb for the month it will charge your card R100 at the end of the month... Not like the conventional prepaid products available.

That's to my understanding, anyone else is welcome to chip in if I am to be corrected.

Above is true by shaheedtait .

For OP's solution, open a VCPay account [free] and EFT your amount to the VCPay account. It is a virtual CC and has already confirmed to be working on rain's payment gateway. VCPay As for fees using VCPay, just confirm with them. You generate using the app with the amount needed from your balance you EFT'd before and that card complete with a CVV number is generated. :D

Fair warning, big delay in deliveries so keep your eyes peeled to the feedback thread.

Goodluck and let us know how it goes.

Hold on there, they just launched and still battling wrt deliveries. They may partner with retailers and you will get it that way but for now it is how you see it on their site.

Hi simmakombe, just checking, when you ordered the sim card, I get this screen instead of the one you posted, should I selected turn off spend limit if I don't want to use it in peak hours? or put the value to R250 so I get the unlimited off-peak data. Thanks

Hi, I honestly don't know if the limit can be set to zero, I think the minimum is R250 during peak time and no option to use off-peak data only :(
Not so sure.

The amount you set is the one you will pay, including the R250 off peak data. I set mine to R500 which is the R250 off peak and the other R250 is for peak use. So, come month end, I will pay R500. So, if you set it to R250, that's the amount you will pay, so no peak time usage. But your best bet will be to configure your router
