Rain Sim Card Router Not working

Hi @rain_mobile im using the huawei H112-372-A and it’s not detecting my simcard. In the odd occasion that it does then I’m faced with a no network issue. Please help

I received my router and SIM card today and an sms confirming that my sim is activated but after setting everything up on the router it say no sim card and I can’t connect to the internet.

Please assist.

Am having the same issue as well, sim card is not detected by the modem. Sim card has been confirmed activated.

I'm also having the same problem. Sim invalid/not working. It's been 2 days now.

@BigBear the way the Sim card for the 5G goes in is this!!!

the logo must face outwards of the Huawei 5G and the other side must touch the router where the electronics interacts with the data on the sim and the corner must go at the bottom of the router.

Hi @Christa17

I will need to check on the profile what the issue might be , Please use the below linked to send me the email address linked to the profile.

Good day,

I have a 5G package with a ZTE: MC801A modem.

I've had "no service" from the 16th of Jan (Monday).
This morning (21 Jan) it says; "No SIM card or Invalid sim".

Iv'e put the SIM card in my phone to see if it'll say anything else, the iPhone gives me the same label.

What could this be?

Hi, please try the below

1. Connect the device to a laptop/computer as if you are charging it (turn the device on while you are doing this).
2. Search for the device under your laptop/computer network icon and connect to it, if it needs a password, use the wifi key that will be found either at the back or on the backlid of the device (a sticker should be on either place showing the make and model of the device, serial number, etc, amongst those will be the Wifi key).
3. Open a browser and type in 192.168.0.1 on the address bar of the browser.
4. A ZTE webpage will appear, on your username and password, enter “admin” and press “enter”.
5. Go to settings>> Mobile network>> APN.
a. Profile name: rain
b. APN field: rain
c. Username: admin
d. Password: admin
e. PDP type: IPV4
f. Authentication: none
Hi, I have done all of the above, at work as I cannot even get onto the ZTE page at home. I have no signal. I'm in a 4g and 5g covered area. At work it showed a perfect connection, got home and nothing. I can't connect at all. Tried to walk around to optimize my coverage, nothing. I'm so despondent. Please help
