Raised by wolves [sci-fi]

If you read the end credits the minor roles are almost all South African actors

it must have been shot in South Africa.

Would have never guessed.

Raised by Wolves was filmed at the Film Afrika studios in Cape Town as well as locations in the Western Cape area which surrounds the city itself.

The studios played host to many of the indoor locations while the mountainous region of the Western Cape provided the backdrop to many of the outdoor scenes.

I am enjoying it.
And knowing that it was fillmed in CT makes more sense - since Travis Fimmel has ben here training at MadFit MMA

OK so potential SPOILERS - Episode 1x06

What happened to swapping the eyes in and out... now the whole episode she just automatically swaps eye colour automatically between weaponised and non-weaponised....
They've totally screwed up the eyes in this episode.

Yes best sci-fi on TV at the moment. I initially thought they were trying to push an atheist agenda with how they portrayed the religious group currently not sure. The religious characters are being given enough chance to be seen as human ,flaws and all. The virus is an interesting twist.

The floating scene had to be made to be on hbo. I'm surprised that they even make TV14/pg13 shows.

It will probably have a 16 age restriction when it reaches our shores.

I will persevere until the end of season 1, but this TV show feels low budget. Like one of those series made by film school students.

It certainly doesn't look it. Can definitely see the expensive cameras used.

Yes, it's awesome... takes the Blade Runner and Alien Androids vibe a bit further.... but I understand not everybody understands or can comprehend serious SciFi.
You need a very high IQ to understand this stuff.

What is with the voices and the visions as even the Androids see it?

At the end of episode 7 it's starting to get a vibe similar to shows like Lost. It's no longer the androids against human or atheists against the Saul followers but more about the mysteries of the planet.

I see we have a fellow person of culture. Lost is the best TV show ever made.

This one is well written. The plot twist is what keeps people watching. It seems the first episode offended some , I was also very apprehensive being very religious.

We have to just remember that a human being is telling us a story through this TV show.(the story is science fiction)

I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I can't wait for new episodes every Thursday.

Regarding voices and visions. There is clear evidence of life and civilization on the planet prior to androids and humans arrival. The holes in the ground are not natural almost machine made. Unlikely to have been made by the giant snakes.
