Raised by wolves [sci-fi]

It looks like he went from atheist all the way to the other end of the spectrum of suicidal/suicide cult leader.
Ja, I'm seeing that now.... but she didn't say or suggest anything either.
She didn't try to change his mind or propose a plan of allying with the Androids.

So besides all the screw-ups with the eye colours on the Necromancer model, my other gripe is that if the two Atheists with the face jobs know that the Necromancer, the dad and their kid are also atheist, why are they so aggressive towards them?
Why did he attack the Necromancer if she was actually on his side. And why question her about her motives, if they are ultimately the same as his own?
The android is programmed to protect the children. It's was reprogrammed to not be on anyone's side.

Only thing I found weird is how a human can turn into Bane with super strength from a blood transfusion.
The tube shows it is blood transferring and not that white android liquid.

I'm still loving the series, but getting a bit tired of the constant running back and forward. Story needs to start moving forward now.

I'm bored but want to see what is living in those big holes.

I actually thought it was an egg from one of the snakes.
I also wish the lady android had bigger boobies......
You are in luck. The boobs will get bigger as the pregnancy progresses.

Every time I read "raised by wolves" I think "Ripped apart by badgers"

This is a fun watch so not analyzing it to death. All the better that it was filmed locally (thought I recognized some of those mountains!).
And that intro song gives me goosebumps, it creates such a mood. I like that its different, and I've sat through much much worse sci-fi..

I am now thinking the show is written to be science fiction crossed with the Bible.

The flying Snake as Satan.
God is the voice that speak to people
Mother and Father are Adam and Eve.
The children as the Israelites. The dark haired atheist boy will probably end up being Cain and the blond boy Abel.
The atheists as the non-believers
Many are false prophets thinking they are the coming of Jesus.
Devolution is what happens when you are not a believer and the creatures on the planet seem to have devolved from humans.

It was certainly an interesting twist at the end. Turns out I was wrong again the holes in the ground were made by giant snakes.

You can always find parallels about a story talking about origin , good and evil in a book about those things. The show seems to be a story about survival.

Humans needed to find a new planet to survive.
Giant snakes need a food source to survive.

It was interesting how quickly the androids realized the threat and acted to neutralize it.

I don't know much about the giant snakes to call them evil, in the series anyway.

I thought I had seen the box with the head somewhere ,it was in one of the Alien movies. And the host did kind of look like an "engineer".

I enjoyed the first season can't wait for season two. And the next movie in the alien series.

I don't understand the snake part - given the nature of the parents. I expected some sort of hybrid.

The snake part is uncertain. Who put the egg in he? A being we are yet to meet living on the planet while she was connected to the machine?

Was it the snake who piloted /control the pod back from the earth's core or some other force?
The snake suddenly grew very large but not while it was in the earth's core but just when it came back to the surface. Does it need heat to grow? .

I agree on West World. Gave up on that a few episodes into S02 already. Didn't finish Picard either...

So many shows with a good S1 and regurgitated nonsense in the following ones.
I think Fargo is the only one I've watched all 3 seasons of.

Some people think the snakes are highly evolved on that planet possessing telepathy and are the apex predator.

They fed off and controlled the homo sapien species. Maybe as the home sapiens evolved there was a war with the snakes resulting in destruction of both.

A theory is that the snakes are doing the telepathy using it control to all creatures with intellect to do their bidding.

If any of the above are true then this is descending into some psychedelic too clever by far sh*t. Not yet, but getting there.
