I still wonder why no one has been able to stop this bullshit?

Perhaps pass legislation preventing people from appealing the same case more than x amount of times? Or at least something else in legislation/law to stop this?

I would also do the same if someone else was footing the bill. I mean, the same court who told her the judgement requires confirmation told her, again, that the judgement must first be confirmed. So, she's now going back to ask the same court to tell her different? They should dismiss it out of hand.

The courts have the power to refuse to hear frivolous cases or dismiss abuse of process, but until they do she'll keep appealing.

I'd say that is a given.. She needs access to the phala phala investigation so she can steer its findings to get rid of cyril.
 
More money for Mpofu, another legal loss for both of them.

Between her and Zuma, Mpofu must be doing pretty well and couldn't care less if he keeps losing.

Losing just means another appeal and more money in his offshore account.

Wants to purge the damming evidence against her that is probably on a backed-up HDD somewhere, or, on that memory stick, she stashed behind the toilet cistern in her private bathroom.

Her legal team advocate Dali Mpofu and instructing attorneys, Seanago, abandoned proceedings saying they were illegal: “We are not able to take part in any of the further illegal activities which would involve anything beyond the application. As we indicated this morning, of the adjournment because to do so would be to acquiesce in this committee as it’s currently constituted is completely illegal.”

Mkhwebane said she has not given her legal team the mandate to withdraw from the inquiry and will have to consult with them on their decision.

Uhm. Did her legal team go against her instruction or not?

Just putting it out there, but Dali, and the instructing attorneys, aren't living up to the code, but I guess Dali will put it on them when Mkhwebane is being challenged by these legal ethics.

This is poor conduct. In this week, Dali challenged the system not to have matters go to higher courts arguing that the benches take too long to deliberate over matters, yet, that is how they play Zuma's game.

The work Heller and Seepe charged R120 000, made up of 65 hours at R1850 per hour, are the following: 4 hours of "research and reading", 24 hours "preparing articles", 15 hours of "interview set-up, preparation and marketing", 7 hours "social media activation", 7 hours for "advisory and briefing notes for office and with key influencers", 8 hours for "correspondence, reports and meetings". This culminated in three opinion pieces, including a right of reply, with over 10 000 reads on one site, 3 radio interviews, one television interview and nine social media activations which led to over 250 000 impressions.

It is patently clear that she is part of the Zuma faction.
But she is also part of the ANC.
And the ANC look after their own.

I was under the impression that the job of the Public Protector is to protect the public from (corruption and) lies.
It would seem that this Public Poepol tries to protect the public from the truth.

For me there is a question of why this inquiry is still ongoing. Enough has been heard already that show she is not fit for the position. End the inquiry and impeach the cow.

They have to follow the process I guess. Apparently, Van Der Merwe is the last witness, so the end is near for both the inquiry and Mkhwebane.

Just speculating, but methinks Mpofu dropped her because of payment/money.
If you don't pay me, then I don't work for you anymore.

I very much doubt that is the case...

Mpofu staged that as an attempt to get their requested postponement, and now he's sulking at home that it didn't work.
