Hon. Florence Kajuju is the Chairperson of the Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman) and has been the 2nd Ombudsman of the Republic of Kenya since August 2018. In addition, she is the President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) African Chapter, a position she was elected to on the 9th of November 2021, and the Secretary General of the African Ombudsman and Mediators Association (AOMA) since 2018. She also serves as a Board Member to the African Ombudsman Research Centre (AORC) based at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, South Africa. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 26 years of experience on the Bar. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts, Leadership and Governance degree at Mount Kenya University and holds an LLB degree from the University of Nairobi. Prior to her appointment as the Chairperson of the Commission on Administrative Justice, Hon. Florence Kajuju served as a Woman Member Kenya National Assembly Meru County in the 11th Parliament. She participated in the constitution making process as the Vice Chairperson Law Society of Kenya (LSK) for which she was recognized and awarded the Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS).

either Zuma went in too deep, or Ramaphosa's timing in suspending Mkhwebane is being brought into doubt.

The investigation still continues, the office is still there, the deputy PP continues with the investigation.

Nope, not suspicious at all, it is a culmination of a process that was started long time ago, but I know people will want to pretend otherwise, we all know the PP was living on borrowed time.

A few weeks ago would not have changed anything, when the scandal broke people would still want to associate her suspension with it either way. You do know he only received the representation from Mkhwebane on the 27 of May so when would the few weeks ago place us? It would mean he was supposed to suspend her before she provides her representation.

I know it's tempting but not everything that happens from now on should be linked to the great heist.

This is why I believe an AU court isn't necessarily the best thing to deal with criminal problems on this continent. Sad to say, but all these institutions seem to be captured by people who don't have the populace's interests at heart.

You have to ask, what was Nigeria thinking when they put a massive Jacob Zuma statue???

Still doesn't change the fact the timing is all too convenient for CR17 and I'm not the only one asking this very obvious question, I see social media is buzzing...

I do believe that there are multiple vectors going on here. The timing is but one such vector, and yes, Ramaphosa had ample time to invoke Section 194(3)(a). The question is now whether the deputy Public Protector will investigate Ramaphosa’s private money bank and its related activities?
