It honestly doesn't matter if it's only one of you or many, it doesn't have any impact on the strength or weakness of your argument.

The timing is in line with the process that was started long ago to remove the PP, the fact that Cyril just happens to be facing a scandal at the same time is neither here nor there.

17th May, Ramaphosa asks Mkhwebane to give him reasons why she must not be suspended.
28 May Mkhwebane gives Ramaphosa her reasons.
09 June Ramaphosa suspends the PP.

Now according to you what timing would not be suspicious to suspend her?

Section 194 was finalised months ago. He also asked her for reasons back in March already...

Sorry, yes that was supposed to be March, and you do know Mkhwebane went to court to argue that Ramaphosa was implicated in her investigation.

The very fact that the process has been unfolding is proof enough that this decision was long coming. It's one thing to argue that she could have been suspended long ago, and quite another to want to argue that her suspension now is in reaction to the Heist scandal when it is as clear as daylight that the process has been ongoing long before the great heist was exposed.

Sure, but why wait until now to pull the trigger. He's had all this time.

It's not necessarily a bad thing for him to start cleaning house. Whether this conspiracy is true or not. It should have been done a long time ago. Remember the leaked recording where he threatened to air everyone's dirty laundry if they kept hounding him? It's about time we saw a president of action...

That is a fair point and not one I am interested in arguing, we all know how Cyril works, he has never been in any haste in all the people he has suspended and subsequently fired, from Moyane to Khehla Sitole, it's his way of doing things, maybe he is thorough like that.

My point was strictly on those who want to pretend like there is something untoward about the suspension even though we all know it was coming.

It's unlikely the ANC will maintain it's majority in '24. They'll probably fall as low as 46%

No dreams required, just a commitment from the opposition parties to service delivery and actually caring about the well being of the poor who makes up the bulk of the electorate, perhaps ActionSA is on the right track but the main opposition looks to have more interest in good PR than anything, the nonsense about telling people living in squalor that there are much worse squalors out there is not going to win you votes.

The DA are really not going out of their way to win votes, they are putting a decent show trying to win the Afrikaner vote but that is not going to get them anywhere, if they are not careful they won't even be the main player in the coalition they are aiming for in 2024.

The less said about the EFF, UDM Freedom Front and the others, the better.
