Well, sure there will be people who're stupid enough to vote ANC again.

But the bright side is, that the ANC will lose its majorities in both provincial (GP very likely and most likely KZN) and national governments. The proof is in last year's election results and recent by-elections, ANC's on the run in most places except MP, EC and LM. FS hasn't had by-elections yet, so we don't know there, yet the ANC barely held onto Bloem last year and barely got above 50% of the provincial vote.

The DA are really not going out of their way to win votes, they are putting a decent show trying to win the Afrikaner vote but that is not going to get them anywhere, if they are not careful they won't even be the main player in the coalition they are aiming for in 2024.

The less said about the EFF, UDM Freedom Front and the others, the better.

Well, if the "united front" governments in Gauteng and other places continue to do well, then I think that should be a big enough ad for the parties involved for 2024, especially ASA and DA.

The timing of it coincides perfectly with the process that was already under way to suspend her.

It’s coincidental at the most. Nothing more. The investigation into Cyril at the PP office, still continues.
 
One can only watch the costly circus with utter amusement. More than one third of school-aged kids in KZN will not get enough to eat today. Evidence of the benevolent democracy remains vastly exaggerated.

Not really. Ramaphosa is just giving more ammo to the RET squad by suspending her after she announced she was investigating Rama's "lost millions".

Believe what you like. But as I said, her suspension does not stop the investigation. Her office will continue the work as well the new acting PP.
