Random disconnect

I have the iBurst webphone which is connected to my Netgear Wireless N router model WNR2000.

For the past 5 days, my connection disconnects randomly after midnight. The problem I have is that the connection does not automatically reconnect. When I wake up in the morning I have to unplug the modem. This is really frustrating as I set my downloads to start at midnight and stop at 8am. This morning it stopped at 5am and yesterday it stopped at 2am.

I have not changed any setting in the modem or router. The only thing that I had to do recently was reformat my laptop last week but cannot see how this would affect my connection.
 
Really weird. Getting something like that on my computer, when modem connected to PC: PPPoE connection just disappears and not reconnects, only manually.
 
The issue would be local. All sessions are aggregated to central locations using 3GPP2. A generic problem would result in all subscribers being effected which isn't the case.

Obvious things to check are tress, buildings, etc. and to move the antennae around to find the best reception.
