Range Extender Issues Using T-Plink WA730RE and Huawei B683

I have the following network setup

Huawei B683 that is my router - a T-Plink WA730RE that I use as my range extender that connects wireless to the Huawei - and a Trendnet TEW648UBM Wifi dongle that I use to connect my main PC to the T-Plink.

My connections on the Huawei B683 is stable and I do not experience any drops, but the T-Plink which is suppose to boost/extend the signal of the Huawei continually drops on all my android devices and pc.

Router issues all IP addresses and T-plink is assigned a static address 192.168.1.110 .

I've assigned a static address to the T-Plink as well as a dynamic one and I've tried bridging the Huawei an the T-Plink from the Hauwei side.

It seems somehow somewhere I have IP conflicts but cant seem to understand where or why ? Any advice ?

Hi There,
Have you tried connecting the TP-Link to the Huawei using a cable?
Wireless extending like you have done is not the greatest solution as the wireless network will only run at the speed of the slowest connection.
You should have the Huawei in Bridge mode. Connect the cable and then use a different channel in the TP-Link with the same SSID as the Huawei. so if the Huawei is on channel 1 put the TP-Link on channel 5.

Regards
