Its not like I dont share, half of this stuff is for other people!!! Im willing to share!!! :)

I completely missed that this was the problem :p Guess I didn't understand HTC_guy's engrish at all...

ROFL!

I use orbit downloader and I have been experiencing the same problem with some files from rapidshare downloading only 600 bytes, if you restart the download it usually works fine. But it can become quite a irritation.

Can anyone help me with this?

Im now using FDM which I think is much better than flashget, but Im just trying to figure out if there is any setting that I can use to get around this really annoying problem!

Was thinking maybe a setting on this page??

610 byte

This 610 byte problem is a IS problem....Nothing to do with the download manager.
I have tries 3 different download managers and rapidshare.
I do not have the problem on a saix account.
I do have a premium rapidshare account.

610 Byte file

No I have not ....will give it a go.
Thanks

Guys switch to Cryptload. I use it with a premium account and it works wonders.

I also got this 610Kb downloaded file issue on most of the download managers that I have tried. I have now switched to JDownloader and it hasn't let me down yet. It also has a few nice features that the others don't.

Works just fine with RS Premium through IS network.

jdownloader is awesome, but fdm is just more convenient for me with rs, when using netload though, then i use jd. its faster than fdm. have tested it with rs and it works well.

I know I did read it and hence the confusion. Have also tried FDM and not sure how you would use it either for RS links

OK so got the FDM to work but had to buy 100GB traffic as my rapidshare had run out!

Off topic
Hey Lord I see you are also a CT resident.......perfect weather to be indoors today! Heavy mist out our way next to the coast.

i havent been outside yet lol. fiona have you tried torrents instead of spending all your money on rapidshare?

torrents are too slow and seem to slow my whole system down. What I do not get is if I am only downloading 198kbs/s my adsl line speed drops to below 198 and I cannot do anything else. I have a 4mbps/s line unshaped! I just do not seem to figure out if this is normal or how to set it up better.

I have now tested FDM I must say great for single links. What I love about Cryptload is you can past multiple links, cannot find anywhere in FDM to do this does jdownloader allow multiple links from paste?

in FDM once you have copied multiple links then press CTRL + SHIFT + V

i thought you said you read the entire thread . . . :p
