Rapidshare and Flashget issues, plz help?

Ya probably missed that as I was only looking for the flashget and rapidshare info at the time. Thanks

ok so this weekend I think I tried about 10 different download managers... some of them were TERRIBLE!! LOL

and some were downright cool!

funnily enough I settled on FDM, it seems to be the best option. I just like the feel, and the speeds are good, not great... but good. Im not gonna argue over 15 K/sec.

Problem is my RS account (actually someone elses who Im borrowing) expired so I was quite depressed about that. I must say that using RS made me feel quite spoilt, coz now its back to torrents and unless you have TONS of seeds I dont get full line speed all the time like I do with RS.

Fionab, perhaps you can help me out?

This RS account I have been using has let me download to my hearts content, but I signed up for my own and its got a heavy restriction on it, I dont understand why? I've circled the ones I dont understand :(

This is my account

This is the borrowed account

On the other hand, you can use TrafficShare to stock up your own download volume. When you download a file and have exhausted your download quota, you have the possibility to allow our system to automatically convert TrafficShare to Download Traffic in your account setting. For this a balance of more than 5 GB needs to be booked to your TrafficShare Account.

Sorry I feel a bit retarded here.. :o

So in other words I simply need to puchase a 100GB of TrafficShare?

OR you can upload and earn rapidpoints for every file users download from your uploads. those points you can convert to download gigs or a new account.

HTC guy convert your points you have loads for more traffic as opposed to buying. In the settings option there is a way of doing this.
If you got my mail I sent you to gmail you can ask me for help via that or send me a PM.
RS has changed the premium account details refer to point 5 of the small print.

how do you accumulate points? do you upload a lot of stuff?

I have 6000 points available, so Im wondering how much I need to upload to get to 10,000 so I can extend my account without having to pay!

By uploading and sharing on one of the share sites. The more people that download off you the more points you get. PM me for more info if you need.

its quite easy. some stuff i uploaded last year are still bein downloaded.

you just gotta know where to post the links

(sorry for bumping this thread, I know its old...)

I dont suppose you gonna help me with what URL I should use to post my links? :)

last night I didnt even get that far, I was stuck trying to upload stuff... I just couldnt get it to work! :(

I tried uploaded 1 single file and it just sits there saying 0% , so I tried multiple files... and this didnt work either. In desperation I tried using the RS upload/download tool, and when I queue an upload the status bar just says "waiting" and I left it for like 30 min and was still on 0%

help please?

who is your isp?

try uploading to a different site, anything small, like photobucket.com or something

RS upload

Im with Axxess express +

I tried uploading a smaller file to RS and it did start... even though it was going quite slow.

not sure if its my ISP or what? the line was fine, I tested that...
