Rapidshare updates to Rapids

Anyone know the quickest way of finding out where/what sites/pages have links to my RS files on them? I'll need to go notify anyone sharing my files what the new links are when I share them on HF.
 
Look, the 5gig 20 rapids thing is about the same as it was, BUT the gigs fall away every day, thats not very cool at all! The other issue as mentioned before is the auto update will screw us completely if we do just over that. Infact, if you request a 1.5gig file, you are upgraded from the 1 gig to the 5 gig account instantly. That means if I download 5.1gigs I will be charged for the 20. Again, not the end of the world if you can let it carry over.

I will have to suck the best out of my package and try use it up quickly. 7months remaining of the 1 year package.... Sigh
 
This really sux ..... used nothing yesterday & today, yet lost 8 points :mad: ... on the old system i could have had 10(2days) + 5 Gb to use tomorrow, which would have been great being weekend and all :erm: :twisted:
 
Yep - a K*A*K system - one always seems to be upgarded to the "next level" just before midnight and then you lose all the extra bandwidth :(
 
I just checked on their logs and according to them i have downloaded 30GB in the last 3 days. Quite something if you take into account im on a 384k line!!!!!!

So not only does their new model sucks, it calculated the usage wrong and they effectively steal your money by upgrading you package at will
 
RS is dead. Their limitations seems draconian when compared to the other offerings. Switch and get it over with, it's that easy. I'm outa here as soon as my rapids run out.
 
yeah, thanks, I've set those settings now. They weren't there yesterday.

yeah, still not enough for me to stick with them.
I've noticed that many of the usual RS (or multiple file sharing) contributors haven't been using RS in the last couple days. Signs of things to come????

Which provider are you considering?
 
Here is how I see my account status with RS at present:
I have 1794 Rapids on hand and my account is classed RapidMedium by R$ using 20 points per day and a download limit of 5GB per day with 50GB storage, although I never use the latter (or do I?). Scrolling to the bottom of my profile page on R$ it states:
Choose RapidShare package - 1794 Rapids available.
So if I take the 1794 Rapids and divide it by 20 points per day I am left with 89.7 days before my account runs dry, right?

I had the same problem and was buying TrafficShare in 100GB batches every other day. I sent an email to R$ letting them know it was impossible for me to DL 100GB in 3 days days and they asked if I had a DL Manager installed, which I did. After removing it my DL usage dropped all the way back to where it should be and I havent bought TrafficShare points since.
 
Hi, doesn't the hotfile premium limit you to 100gb/month or 600gb/6 months?
