what are the policies of Hotfile regarding multiple users of same account?
I know RS was picky about multiple IP's and I got warned more than a few times.

@ Park@82, Something must have gone wrong as I think it works fine now, and the speeds aren't too bad either.
It's either Rapidshare, Hotfile, Sharing Matrix or Depositfiles - don't go for Mega Upload and the rest.
I have chosen to go with a 1 Year membership to Hotfile, and 2000 Rapids from RS - Most of the time I take the Rapidshare Links, and even though I download a lot, 2000 rapids is lasting pretty well so far =)
@ Off-The-Chart - as long as you don't download from 2 DIFFERENT IP's at the same time i'm sure you will be fine.

@ Off-The-Chart: been sharing a RS account for almost a year now without any warnings. IIRC I read somewhere that some Hotfile users got their accounts suspended...

also read somewhere that Rapidshare are more likely to protect your anonymity than some of the others......based on past actions and the T&C's.

yep, know bout not multiple IP's.
sucks though cause if you want to share an account, especially with the pricing, then it defeats the purpose.
don't understand it, since you have paid for the account, why does it matter from how many IP's you download?
not like changing IP will get you raping the living cr*p out of the account.

I don't think it will matter anymore on Rapidshare, since they changed to a credit system (I think)
but on time based accounts like Hotfile/etc, it IS cheating - because then you and your friends can all use 1 single account....
Why....?
most people are uploading to the others, Sharing matrix and Deposit Files are growing very quickly
I have used MU for ages and there are enough people UL to it, although that said Hotfile seems to be growing rather quickly.

yeah also been with MU a long time, but as Keeper said, the majority goes towards the others.
you can still find what you looking for on MU links, but it will be easier to find with the other hosts.
now if only places like HF could allow "PAYMENT BY CC" then it would make my life so much easier.

I also don't have a paypal account, but it shouldn't be a problem to open one?
restrictions like? AFAIK you can only receive money if you are with fnb.
Just get someone with Paypal to buy the account for you after you paid the equivelant bucks into their account.

what I was thinking, but little trust issue.

I don't have a CC cause I know I will abuse it, and apparently my Debit Card is not one of those VISA enabled cards.

well if any1 here can help me out, I would be most appreciative.
although I would have 1 condition: (I know it sounds b*tchy since I am asking the favor)
I will pay half until the account wherever has been made and only once details has been received, will I pay the rest.
it is how I have done "FOR SALE" stuff as well as previous online orders for friends.
this way trust is earned by both parties and if the 2nd party doesn't hold up it's end, at least I don't lose all my money.
this is actually also the reason I have shared file host accounts in the past. people have helped me out in times and then this would be one way of helping them back.
especially before RS' current T&C's when I had 2 premium accounts, I gladly shared them.
with MU so far I have no problems, since I have some1 in the US using the account mainly and I just get stuff now and then. (so 2 IP's seem ok)
with RS they told me at least 3 or 4 IP's is ok since I used to use 2 ISP (wonderful SA ofc) and then 2 of the IP's there were auto generated by their system.

yeah looking at going with HF, the 1 year.
it seems to be the logical next step as I have found most places use it.
