I'm curious as to what you think they were doing with it? Hoarding orders to save on deliveries or doing some pyramid sorta scheme?and pop goes the Raru bubble, can only play musical chairs with the order money for so long before it all comes crashing down.
Nothing sinister like that, my guess is that business was bad and they needed to continue taking orders to stay afloat even if they couldn't fulfil said orders, refunding only the loudest complainers.I'm curious as to what you think they were doing with it? Unless you can get someone to pump some cash in....It's a debt spiral
There is no coming back from it unless you suddenly have 100% growth overnight. The doors should be shut before you get to point 1, it is the honourable, ethical and legal thing to do.
- Suppliers have suspended our accounts until outstanding balance is paid
- Take new orders to get most important accounts paid
- Those accounts get swapped to COD, so now they need even more money to get stock
- Continue taking orders
- Eventually start paying for stock COD with suppliers to honour orders from point 2 or even earlier
- But now you have a few thousand (or more) orders that the customers have paid for from points 2 and/or 4, and you no longer have the money for as you used it to pay for clearing the outstanding balance with suppliers and buying stock COD for point 2 or earlier
- Continue taking orders, hoping for enough to fulfill orders from point 4
- Repeat until the ship ultimately sinks
Nobody wants to pump cash into a sinking ship - the waterline is almost at the deck by the time you get to that point. The only way it's likely to happen is someone with a massive budget and a vision wanting a controlling stake in the company to steer it in a different direction.Unless you can get someone to pump some cash in....
Or somebody wanting a foothold in a market via an existing recognized name - but the problem with that would be that it's now a name known for the wrong reasons, which it would be a lot of / too much work to rehabilitate.Nobody wants to pump cash into a sinking ship - the waterline is almost at the deck by the time you get to that point. Someone banned in 2005... its 2022At least it's not Bruce Wayne (or Waine), although I do wonder if there is any link with @slimothy.
No grudge, I think I was still a lurker back then and IIRC @slimothy was explained to be a labour contraction of the surname Smith and firstname maybe Timothy or Slim(e)?.Someone banned in 2005... its 2022
Grudge held for 17 years... *mind blown*
