That works dandy :)
Doesn't your monitor/TV support RCA in as well, then at least you have something to do to keep you busy...albeit at super kak quality :D

edit: whoops, that was meant for Green Raddish

I used RCA on my 32" (720p) TV. It works perfectly fine hey.

You don't even want to know what I forgot to buy with mine.

A fscking SD card! Can you believe that retardedness? So I need to go look around for one (or two) when I have some free time tomorrow

I paid for mine back in March. No delivery, no communication. After kicking up a stink with RS in Jhb, I got a refund. Have bought an Android 801 instead from China

Bwahaha :)

They're not expensive, luckily. Just look at a photo store for one within a decent price range. I had a "First champion" or something that I got with a camera long ago, it's class 6 and it works like a bomb.

My old 24" Dell monitor with built in USB ports is coming in handy!

Rasperry PI is being powered by one of them (video input via HDMI-DVI) and both PI & screen get powered on at the same time via the monitors power button :)

Which dell is that? HDMI port I assume?

Nope, screen input via HDMI (Raspberry PI) to DVI (Dell). Its over 6 years old.

Got OpenElec loaded. Very slow (no surprise) but at least I can play music and what videos again while I wait to replace my PC's power supply :D

Next I go see if I can find my old Lego's :p

Decent quality then? I get mine tomorrow so I am very excited. SDHC cards:

I got two from Sybaritic (for VERY good reason - their reaction to that complaint about a year or so ago - thread gone - showed quality and style so I will continue to support them) one is class 4 the other class 10. What class are you running? Does it make a difference past class 4?

Yes looks good. Screen actually has VGA, DVI, S-Video, Composite and Component inputs + a built in USB / card reader.

I actually use it as my second screen on my regular PC's dual monitor setup. But, I'm going to mount the RPi behind the monitor and keep it as a spare "PC".

Lego case done!

Pics to follow :)

Pics as promised.

Where did you get an HDMI to DVI adapter?
