It's a 15cm cable though and not just a "converter".

I have a cable not adapter.

Cool, that's a good price. If you don't have an SD card, Esquire has cards for dirt cheap (so cheap that the petrol would cost me more than the SD card).

From the day of shipping, about 4-5 days (including weekends but no deliveries on Sundays afaik).

You still were conned by DHL, I received mine yesterday, no extra payments. You should take it up with them.

Nope, screen input via HDMI (Raspberry PI) to DVI (Dell). Its over 6 years old.

Got OpenElec loaded. Very slow (no surprise) but at least I can play music and what videos again while I wait to replace my PC's power supply

Next I go see if I can find my old Lego's

Have you tried the new official Distro Raspbian “wheezy” ..... now with hardware floating point ability making things faster. Also have you tried the overclocking and tweaks?

Yup, I agree, but it's not worth the bother - my time is worth more than that.

With me the principle counts. I needed a transistor today so called my suppliers, it's 19cents, called a local electronic's shark R11.45. I told them they are fsuking mad and that why I never supported them in the past and will never in the future. I rather wait and get the part on a next trip via my main supplier.

Same. Took about 48 hours to get to PTA.. no extra cost.

I was in the same boat. Had I not waited an extra 15 minutes for the courier last Friday (knock off at 4PM) I would not have received it before the weekend.
