You're as bad as me: know for weeks that it is coming and wait till it arrives to get the SD. I ordered my SDs last Friday (when I got my tracking no) from Sybar. When I left to go about my business on Tuesday, Sybar still had not updated the order to READY to collect. So, I got the Pi Tuesday morning and then stopped here, there and everywhere to see if I could get an SD from a brick and mortar. For a 4GB, they were asking what I paid for a 16GB Class 10 from Sybar. My Sybar order was then ready on Tues afternoon, so I collected.

I was shocked that the shops are extorting buyers to this degree when the same product is available from Sybar for as little as a quarter of the store price.

luckily i can order from suppliers an go pick up.

i am getting my trancend 16gb class 10 for R99 ex vat.

That's the exact one I got. R122 inc from Sybar. Slightly more but I don't mind supporting them.

Shops are dicks!

Looks pretty neat actually:

i think heathrow is very busy with all the sports people as well
and i wonder what it did in lagos.

At first I actually bought the cable but then (to my luck) the cable version of that adapter had the DVI 24+5 instead of 24+1 so it didn't fit so I exchanged it for the only adapter they had with 24+1

Perhaps just a note as well for guys that are ordering online to make sure that it will fit because I was under the assumption that DVI is DVI is DVI but I was mistaken.
 
and it has arrived. whooooo hooooo.
now i am off to maizy to get some perspex for my diy case build.

DHL Fees 14% Tax plus + disbursement fee of R 100.00 only if your invoice for the item purchased was over R500.

If u only ordered the PI then no fee,cuz it's under R500. Looks like the once that took out the full PI kit that's workout about R750
will need to pay before it gets delivered
 
I was really expecting RS south africa to import the units and distribute them with their courier service to avoid issues like this.
