Hi all me broadbuddies! Haha.. Get it?

So I'm sitting with a real problem, partly my fault, but here's hoping someone will help me resolve it

So I have windows 7 on my laptop and decided cos I loved xp so much to load it on as well. (dual bootup)

And like any guy, I *ignored* the message when I logged into xp that would pop up asking me to activate the windows xp (clicked on cancel thinking there's always next time)

The next time I tried to sign into xp, it wouldn't allow me to get past the sign in screen as it said that it wasn't activated.

It then directs me to a screen to activate windows via different methods. This xp doesn't allow the wifi hardware button to work (only works when logging into windows 7 dual bootup)

So I'm choosing to activate xp by phone but the number for south Africa is no longer available.

And this is where I am stuck.:(:(:(

I have loads of important information in my xp version of Windows that I need to recover.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks!

How do I do that? Oh and here's an update: when I boot up in SAFETY MODE, the windows 7 boots up in safe mode and not the win xp

You might need to take ownership of some files though, this can be irritating.
